Designer Dupe: Pottery Barn Rugs

Writer's picture: Ashley DillonAshley Dillon

Calling all rug lovers!! I’ve had an 8’ Pottery Barn gray jute rug under my kitchen table for a few years now.   It’s lovely, but I find I’m too paranoid about crumbs getting caught in the braid of the jute.  I vacuum it frequently, but it just hasn’t been serving my needs.

I searched literally for YEARS for a new rug to go under my kitchen table.  The problem?

Seeing as how this was going in an eating space, I didn’t want something that was going to be super expensive.

Also, the 8’ rug was just a tad too big (but I knew a 6’ rug would be too small for my 48” table).  Do they even make 7’ round rugs?  They do, but they’re kind of rare.

So I finally found a rug I liked on Walmart.  It was the EXACT SAME as a Pottery Barn rug I had been eyeing (measuring 7’3”: perfect!)

Long story short, after some digging, I found TONS of Pottery Barn rugs for sale for so much cheaper than they sell for at Pottery Barn. I shouldn’t even call them “dupes” cause it’s the same freakin rug. But for consistency’s sake I will. And here they are!

The Pottery Barn Adeline rug is not available on the website right now, but here it is on Amazon

I used to have this PBK Herringbone rug (bought on Amazon) And it’s the real deal. Here’s the dupe!
