Raise your hand if you hate ceiling fans? So many people find them to be a design faux pas. I’ll be honest, I don’t mind ceiling fans. Here’s why:
They increase air movement
They make sleeping at night more comfortable
They can decrease your electric bill by using air conditioning less
They can actually look nice if you choose a modern design
Here are my rules for picking a fan:
Keep the blades to 3 or 4 (sometimes 5 if it’s truly fabulous).
It can have a light, or not, but make sure the lights are covered with a glass dome.
If your ceiling is white, have a white fan. If your ceiling is dark choose a dark fan.
